Denpei-gama, Arita / Kazushi Ikeda "Vessels for Everyday Use" Exhibition

An exhibition of works by Kazushi Ikeda of Denpeigama, one of the potters of the Arita nanakura "HANA" series. Ikeda, who has inherited the techniques cultivated in the 400-year history of Arita-yaki porcelain, has been creating modern and functional vessels that fit today's lifestyle while inheriting the traditions. Ikeda says, "Rather than trying to reproduce the classics, I want to create new tools and continue to make pottery that can be used happily for a long time.
