In the United States, where he studied glass, Mr. Yamano has held many solo exhibitions every year since 1991, including in the Cultural City of Seattle. At Osaka University of Arts, where he is a professor, he has mentored younger students and sent out excellent graduates.
This exhibition was an attempt to bring new life to the exchange through glass with the artist, former faculty members, and alumni.
