The sanshin, a representative instrument of the Ryukyu Islands, was the result of the activities of our predecessors across the sea. The sanshin has been passed down from generation to generation and is on its way to becoming a global instrument. The sanshin, a Ryukyuan musical instrument of the new era, and its history were presented at Gallery Anima with traditional techniques by Mr. Morinaga Kaneshiro, a master sanshin maker, and design as a local industry.
