In the Edo period, Odawara and Hakone marquetry captured the hearts of travelers crossing Hakone. We invite you to see the wide variety of yosegi-zaiku by "Zoki Hayashi," a group of young contemporary craftsmen, Kiyotaka Roki, Yuta Shimizu, Hiroki Ishikawa, Ken Ota, Yuhei Kojima, and Eiji Shinoda, who have inherited the craftsmanship and traditions of generations of artisans.
