The headrest, waist, and legs are movable, and the legs can be extended for lounging or folded for sitting. The covers of each part can be changed, and the chair can be washed at home. The chair was selected by the Triennale Design Museum in Milan as a representative work of 1980 for the emergence of a functional movable chair, and is still in production 40 years after its presentation at the Salone del Mobile in 1980.
