鉄分の多い越前の土を使い、外側は土の持つ素朴さを残し、内側は洗いやすさと食べ物や飲み物を引き立てるよう、白い釉薬を施し、器のフォルムがより際立つようにまとめたデザイン。徳利やコーヒーポットなど、従来の様式に捉われず、食卓を豊かにするテーブルウェアシリーズを提案した。

Using iron-rich Echizen clay, the outer surface retains the rusticity of the clay, while the inner surface is glazed white for ease of washing and to enhance food and beverages, in a design that brings out the form of the vessel. The design was not bound by conventional styles, but proposed a series of tableware, such as tokkuri (sake cups) and coffee pots, that would enrich the dining table.
